The TK417 combines 4G LTE CAT1 connectivity, multi-mode positioning, and modular hardware in a 55-gram IP54 enclosure.

What cellular network does TK417 use?

4G LTE CAT1 with 19 FDD + 5 TDD bands for near-global coverage across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Does it work indoors?

Yes. WiFi 2.4GHz AP scanning provides indoor positioning. LBS cell tower fallback ensures visibility in GNSS-denied environments.

What is the modular hardware system?

9-pin wiring with configurable PINs 4–7. Choose 1 of 6 modules at order: SOS, battery, GPIO, iButton, BLE gateway, or T&H probes.

What voltage range?

9–48V DC. 12V cars, 24V trucks, 36V utility, 48V e-scooters. 200mAh backup battery for disconnect alarms.

How is TK417 installed?

Wired via 9-pin harness. Red/Black to battery, Orange to ACC, relay wires to fuel circuit. 97×40×15.5mm fits concealed locations.

Which direction should it face?

Label side (GNSS antenna) facing sky. Cellular antenna is omnidirectional.

Can it remotely disable a vehicle?

Yes. Built-in relay for engine cut via platform/SMS. Safety interlock: cut only below 20 km/h or stationary.

How does electronic key work?

Requires registered iButton or BLE credential. Works offline for anti-theft without cellular coverage.

What is the difference between TK417 and TK419?

Both are 4G LTE vehicle trackers with relay and driver ID. TK417 uses LTE CAT1 with 19+5 bands and adds WiFi indoor positioning, BLE beacon gateway for cold chain, and 6 modular hardware configurations. TK419 uses LTE FDD/TDD with 2G fallback and focuses on fleet management with iButton driver ID. TK417 is newer, smaller (55g vs 75g), and more versatile.

How does TK417 compare to other Eelink vehicle trackers?

TK417 is Eelink's most configurable vehicle tracker. Compared to TK418 (CAT-M1/NB-IoT asset tracker for stationary assets), TK417 targets moving vehicles with built-in relay and ACC detection. Compared to TK319L (Cat M1 vehicle tracker), TK417 offers wider band coverage, WiFi positioning, BLE gateway, and modular I/O. TK417's 9-48V range also covers e-vehicles that other models cannot.
